I hope this day finds you fabulous, and in good health and spirits.
It's been 6 years since moving from Colorado to NYC!! Since
graduating from UNC with my BA in Musical Theatre/Acting, I've
been blessed to perform in some great
shows...BROOKLYN (Denver), BOOBS! (NY), NEWSICAL
(drama-desk nominated, NY), and several productions of the musical
BEEHIVE (DC/MA/ME/OH/NC). I've also kept busy with several
smaller projects...Raw Impressions Musical Theatre Marathon Event
#21 (performed in two 10 minute musicals created in less than a
week), Monday Night New Voices and MNNV Anniversary (Duplex/Scott
Alan), The Independent Actor's Workshop, worked it out in gold
spandex as a dancer on the Regis & Kelly show, have done some
industrials, vocal demos for musical in progress, and readings of
the new musical BONNIE & CLYDE (Hunter Foster/Rick Crom).
In the fall of 2007 I performed as one of Bette Midler's Harlettes
at the NY Metropolitan Opera House, and worked on her latest Vegas
show in 2008. I then spent the summer and fall of 2008 in Chicago
doing the incomparable Tommy Tune's latest musical, TURN OF THE
CENTURY (by the writers of JERSEY BOYS, Rick Elice/Marshall
Brickman); it was an incredible experience, and I really enjoyed my
time in Chi-town. Over the winter, into 2009, I worked on small
projects, readings, became a certified Yoga4Soul instructor,
continue to teach dance/fitness classes, and joined the Broadway
company of West Side Story as a temporary standby for Anita! I
recently finished a collaborative film project, Ripfest, and had a
blast with the successful run of SHOUT! THE MOD MUSICAL at the
Ogunquit Playhouse. I'm currently in rehearsals for the Chicago
& Broadway-bound ADDAMS FAMILY; life is good!!!
Stayed tuned for updates here and there, and until then...5, 6, 7,
ballchange!
