Aléna Watters fell in love with musical theatre as a child in the West End, while her family was stationed in England with her father’s service in the United States Air Force. Once her family relocated to the humble suburbs of Colorado Springs, she began training to pursue her blossoming dream of becoming a professional performing artist. She is gratefully living out her dream of spreading joy through entertainment!

Aléna graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with her BA in Musical Theatre/Acting. Since graduating, she has had the privilege & pleasure of professionally entertaining audiences across the globe. For her success & dedication, Aléna had the honor of being named the youngest recipient of UNCo's 2009 Alumni Association's Creative Achievement Award.

Aléna's 6 Broadway credits include one revival, and 5 original musicals- 2009 revival of West Side Story (Anita standby), The Addams Family (Original Saloon Girl Ancestor, OBC recording), the beloved Tony nominated musical Sister Act (Original Tina/Ensemble), The Cher Show (Ensemble, u/s Lady (performed twice) & Star), Mrs. Doubtfire (Original Flamenco Singer/Ensemble), and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Bad Cinderella (Original Ensemble, u/s The Godmother (performed 11 times)).

In 2010 Aléna debuted a solo act, Sass & Fabulousness, at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, which was filmed in part for the critically acclaimed documentary The Standbys (available on dvd, iTunes and streamed on Stage Network).

Through recent years, Aléna has had fun performing in New York City festival shows such as Mr. Confidential (Francesca, nominated for NYMF Best Musical 2014, Signature Theatre), and the MITF production of Motel Rasdell (Crystal- MITF award for Best Musical 2013, June Havoc Theatre). She also is proud to have choreographed a production of Rent for her alma mater, UNCo, alongside fellow alumni Jason Veasey, and may be available for choreography projects.

In 2013, Aléna became a member of the USO Show Troupe, and she has performed around the world to bring joy & lift the spirits of our troops & their families; coming from a military family, this work has a special place in her heart. Along with her service through the USO, Aléna is proud to support non=profit arts organization Sing For Your Seniors through virtual and in-person concerts to uplift and connect with senior communities.
